Shachar Ruberg is not a player looking backwards. The 2018 European 6-Red Champion and six-time Israeli national champion continues to compete and deliver results at international level, most recently helping Israel to European Team bronze in Sofia and recording the highest break of the European 6-Red Championship.
Alongside continued competition, Shachar's campaign reflects a career built on sustained performance: national titles, European team medals, Wels Open success, and now a renewed push on the international Q Tour circuit.
Shachar enters this international campaign with an established record that includes 15 European Championship medals across his career.

Sofia 2026: European Bronze & a Championship-Best Break
At the 2026 European Team Championship in Sofia, Shachar reached the semi-finals alongside Yaron Bodor, securing bronze for Israel. At the same championships, Shachar recorded the highest break of the European 6-Red Championship with a 75, with further breaks of 74 and 72 also among the tournament's best.

Shachar is currently ranked 16th on the 2026/27 WPBSA Q Tour Europe standings after the first two events, including progressing to Round 3 at Q Tour Event 2 in Sofia.
